Young Devon are offering courses in Independent Life Skills, and Work Based Learning.
The Young Devon ‘Change Academy’ delivers a range of skills, courses and qualifications, teaching young people skills for life, to help them thrive in their futures.
Independent Life Skills –Thursdays and Fridays.
This course is designed to support young people back into education, develop life skills and help you live independently. You will receive an entry level 3 qualification.
You will learn in small groups, working on fun projects.
Work Based Learning – Monday to Wednesday. This course is designed to help you develop your Functional Skills. This is a 12 week training course, level 1, with the option of achieving up to level 2 in Maths and English. The course will include skills for employability, building a career portfolio and a research project.
Where: Young Devon, Mutley Plain, Plymouth
When: Courses start week commencing 6 February
Time: 10-3pm
