Are you aged 16 to 24 and looking to gain workplace experience, build your confidence and develop skills that employers value? The Sainsbury's KickStarter Work Experience Programme provides young people with the opportunity to explore the world of work, learn more about careers in retail and gain practical experience in a supportive environment.

Starting in October 2026 (with applications opening in September 2026), the programme is designed to help participants strengthen their employability skills, improve their understanding of the workplace and prepare for future education, training or employment opportunities.
