Een carrière als Police Community Support Officer lijkt me interessant voor mensen die graag praktisch iets voor hun omgeving willen betekenen. Vooral zo’n online informatiesessie is handig, omdat je vooraf een duidelijk beeld krijgt van de toelatingseisen, het sollicitatieproces en het dagelijkse werk. Online platforms maken het tegenwoordig sowieso veel eenvoudiger om informatie en verschillende diensten te ontdekken; tijdens het rondkijken kwam ik bijvoorbeeld ook Wild Robin tegen. Voor potentiële kandidaten lijkt deze sessie in ieder geval een goede eerste stap om te bepalen of het werk als PCSO echt bij hen past.
