Gain valuable retail experience with Waitrose Saltash

Have you ever wondered what it's like to work in retail? Waitrose Saltash is offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop workplace skills and learn more about careers in the retail sector through its Building Happier Futures Programme.

Designed for individuals who have experienced the care system, this programme provides a behind-the-scenes look at life in a busy retail environment. Through a welcome tour and three-day work experience placement, participants will have the opportunity to meet the team, explore different roles and gain valuable workplace experience.

Programme details:

Welcome Tour:

Work Experience Placement:

📅 13 to 15 October

🕘 9am to 4.30pm

📍 Waitrose Saltash, Tamar View, Avery Way, Saltash, PL12 6LD

Following the work experience placement, participants will be guaranteed an interview. While there are currently no immediate vacancies, those who successfully complete the programme will be recognised as Silver Medallists and added to the Waitrose talent pool. This means they will be considered for suitable opportunities that become available over the next three months.
