16-30? SCORE with Argyle Community Trust

It’s that time of year where you may be thinking about what the next year has in store for you…. New year, new opportunities!

If you are looking to build on your confidence and employability skills, the SCORE project could be just what you need.

In partnership with the Prince's Trust, Argyle Community Trust's SCORE programme is focussed on Employability. This six week programme is designed to empower adults to be the best they can be. The aim of the programme is to see young adults in Plymouth and the surrounding areas being trained and becoming “job ready”

It will boost the confidence and resilience of those who have been left out of work due to the COVID-19 pandemic, or those unsure of their direction within a changing environment, and for them to find skilled meaningful jobs, particularly roles within the Health and Social Care sector.

When: Starting Monday 23 January 2023. Course runs Monday to Wednesday for six weeks

Where: Brickfields Sports Centre, PL1 4NE

Time: 9.30am -2pm There is support around English and Maths if needed, and the chance to do team building activities at Dartmoor Zoo.

The course will cover:

  • Emotional Intelligence

  • Resilience

  • Confidence building

  • Being the best you can be

  • Mental health awareness

  • CV/cover letter writing

  • Interview techniques

  • Applying for jobs.

• 12-week support when job successful.

• Real job opportunities matched to your skills and experience.

• First Aid Training upon successful interview with Nurseplus UK.
