There's lots going on at Skills Launchpad Plymouth at the moment, so to save you scrolling through too many posts, here's a break down of what's on and when next week.
Tuesday (open to anyone 16+)
Sector Drop-in Sessions: For anyone interested in the construction and built environment or the health and care sectors, drop-in to Skills Launchpad Plymouth between 10am and 3pm to find out more information about jobs, apprenticeships or further study. Our dedicated coordinators will be on hand to offer advice and support.
Come along and chat to representatives from Skills Group, between 10am and 2pm. You can discuss all things apprenticeships, career aspirations and career development programmes to suit you!
Aged 19+? Book in for a National Careers Service appointment for help with developing your CV, cover letters, or for general careers advice.
Wednesday (Youth Hub delivery for 16 to 24-year-olds)
1:1 Youth Hub appointments, 10am to 3pm: Are you unsure of your future? Not sure what to do next? A chat with Rhi, our Youth Hub Coordinator is a great place to start! You can plan your next steps with wrap around support, advice and guidance. Whether you’re looking to learn, get a job, or work on your mental health and wellbeing, you can chat with Rhi to decide the best route for you. Aged 16-19 and applying for apprenticeships or jobs? Chris from CSW Group is with us every Wednesday in September reviewing CVs and talking through post-16 options. Book a FREE appointment here.
Thursday (Youth Hub delivery for 16 to 24-year-olds)
Find Your Future drop-in at Skills Launchpad Plymouth: Our Youth Hub Coordinator, and Jason from Care Journeys have cleared their diary between 12-3pm to support any care experienced young people in need of a chat and some direction. There’s no pressure to sign up to anything. It’s just a chat, and you can bring a friend or your PA. Pop in and give it a try.
In addition to these activities taking place on the first floor of Barclays, our Community Coordinator Abbie is out and about and our Coordinator James is taking Building Plymouth on tour at the Barne Barton Wellbeing Hub. He will be at the opening of the Barne Barton Drop-in service., so come along between 9am and 1pm for a chat about all things construction!
