From a five-day employability course to 12-week team programmes, how to start your own business and more, if you are aged 16-30 and not in full-time training or employment, the Prince’s Trust can help. Here's what's coming up soon:
Prince's Trust Teams Programme
If you’re unemployed and between 16 and 25, you can meet new people, gain new skills and train on this 12-week Team programme:
Take on your own group community project, making a positive difference to the place where you live
Take part in an action-packed residential trip
Get two weeks’ work experience in something you’re interested in
Develop your English and Maths skills
As part of the course, we also spend some time developing your interview and CV skills to ensure your confidence is sky-high for when taking the next step

Prince's Trust Enterprise
Do you have a business idea that with some support could be the start of something?
Did you know that the Prince's Trust can support 18 to 30-year-olds to develop that idea through their enterprise programme?
The enterprise programme runs every month. It's a three-day online course and information sessions are run weekly, so if you are interested in receiving support with:
start-up costs (they can help you with a test trade grant of up to £500 and with accessing start-up loans and grants!!)
in-depth training on how to set up and run a business
being matched with an experienced business mentor
accessing specialist workshops
this could be the opportunity you've been looking for!!
Prince's Trust Get Into
Get into courses, are for those aged 16-25 who are unemployed, and offer intensive training and experience in a specific sector, such as sport, construction - or one of many more. The courses provide training from qualified professionals to help young people improve their teamwork and communication skills, boost their confidence and develop their interview skills and CV at the same time. Help and support towards getting a job are also provided after the course finishes.
The courses run from two days to a few weeks.
They are completely free and won’t affect your Jobseeker’s Allowance or Universal Credit.
Prince's Trust Future Steps
Future Steps is an employability course to help those aged 16-30 navigate their next steps. These free and interactive workshops will help you to identify your aims and goals, develop your confidence and communication skills, and focus around supporting you to develop skills that will help you ace any interview.
The team will also provide you with a 1:1 mentor, and help review and develop your CV.
