There's lots going on at Skills Launchpad Plymouth at the moment, so to save you scrolling through too many posts, here's a break down of what's on and when next week.
Tuesday (open to anyone 16+)
Sector Drop-in Sessions, 10am to 3pm: For anyone interested in the construction and built environment or the health and care sectors, drop-in to Skills Launchpad Plymouth to find out more information about jobs, apprenticeships or further study. Our dedicated coordinators will be on hand to offer advice and support.
Aged 19+? The National Careers Service offer pre-booked appointments for help with developing CVs, cover letters, and general careers advice.
Did you go to the NHS and Care in Plymouth recruitment fair on Friday 6 October? You will have had access to lots of information. Tuesday is a fantastic chance to pop in and see Jack and Lauren, our Health and Care Coordinators to de-brief! They will be on hand to offer support around your next steps. You will be able to talk about everything from how the event was for you, to your cv and general interview tips.
Wednesday (Youth Hub delivery for 16 to 24-year-olds)
1:1 Youth Hub appointments, 10am to 3pm with Rhi
Drop-in and meet with Hollie from the Prince's Trust to explore the upcoming programmes
Our Youth Hub Work Coaches from the Jobcentre will be meeting people for pre-booked appointments

Thursday (Youth Hub delivery for 16 to 24-year-olds)
Find Your Future drop-in at Skills Launchpad Plymouth: Our Youth Hub Coordinator, Rhi has cleared her diary between 12-3pm to support any care experienced young people in need of a chat and some direction. There’s no pressure to sign up to anything. It’s just a chat, and you can bring a friend or your PA. Pop in and give it a try.
This week, don’t miss your chance to kick start your admin career with the NHS. University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust will be hosting an Admin Interview Evening for anyone interested in an administrative career within the NHS.

Time: From 4pm
This is a fantastic opportunity to speak with panels directly about their live vacancies. You will gain a valuable insight into the actual jobs roles, and be able to discuss them in more detail with hiring managers.
