Mental Health Awareness Week: Taking Action Together

  • 3 min read

Next week marks Mental Health Awareness Week,

and this year’s theme is “Action.”

We understand that reaching out and asking for help isn’t always easy. Opening up can feel difficult, and taking that first step can sometimes be the hardest part.

The Mental Health Foundation has chosen Action as this year’s focus because while raising awareness is important, meaningful change happens when we turn awareness into real, positive action.

This theme is an invitation for all of us to take that next step—whatever that may look like. Your action could be something you do for yourself, to support someone else, or to contribute to a healthier community for everyone.

Our mental health is influenced by the environments and circumstances around us. While some factors are beyond our control, we still have the ability to take small, meaningful actions to support and improve our wellbeing.

To support this, there are a range of activities and opportunities available here at Skills Launchpad Plymouth next week:
