Are you interested in film, photography, or creative media? The King's Trust is offering an exciting hands-on programme for young people who want to explore their creativity, develop new skills, and gain practical experience in a supportive environment.
Working alongside industry professionals, you'll get the chance to use cameras, MacBooks, and industry-standard editing software while creating your own film or photography project.
Throughout the programme, you will:
📷 Gain hands-on experience with professional equipment
🎞️ Learn how to use industry-standard editing software
🎬 Create your own film or photography project
💡 Develop creative, digital, and technical skills
🤝 Meet like-minded young people
🌟 Build confidence and explore opportunities in the creative sector
The support doesn't stop when the course ends. Participants will also have access to one-to-one mentoring, helping them build on their skills and explore future education, training, or employment opportunities.

Taster day: Wednesday 16 September 2026
Course dates: Monday 21 to Saturday 26 September 2026
Expression of interest deadline: Thursday 10 September 2026
Location: Plymouth
Who Can Apply?
You must be:
Aged 16 to 30
Not currently in full-time employment, education, or training
Interested in film, photography, or creative media
No previous experience is required.
This is a fantastic opportunity to try something new, gain valuable digital skills, and bring your creative ideas to life.
