We are so excited to be celebrating the launch of Real Ideas Intensives here in Plymouth. Run by the Real Ideas Organisation, the team is running three six-week intense skills programmes which are designed to progress the interests of young people that are interested in the Food, Creative and Digital sectors.
With industry insights and challenge-based learning, young people will be equipped with the essential skills they need to launch themselves into working in their chosen vocation.
All courses are focused on an enterprise challenge where they pitch the idea to industry professionals at the end of the six weeks. There is a strong focus on skills development and through the enterprise challenge, young people work as a team to understand all aspects of how a business can operate: transferable skills to move into any job.
More on the three themed courses:
Food and Hospitality
Learn about the job roles and the skills needed to succeed. Learn the practicalities needed to develop a business idea and network with local employers to learn from them.

Emerging Creatives:

All young people will gain digital badges and specifically, a 'kickstart ready' meta-badge which employers of kickstart placements will be able to view on the young people's CV's.
