On Course South West are working with employers across Plymouth to design and deliver high quality, FREE of charge training to self-employed, employed and unemployed adults, to meet skills needs and job vacancies in the city.
Just one of the many great programmes on offer is the Skills Bootcamp nine weeks of training, on the Green Protection of Natural Resources.
This programme will be perfect for those interested in Green Skills and employment within that area. It will prepare you for roles within nature restoration, woodland management, arboriculture, decarbonising agriculture and waste management.
What can you expect?
Begins with an induction session to create a personalised learning plan.
Core practical sessions covering topics such as principles of green protection, ecological restoration and management, sustainable land use and agriculture, community engagement and education, and green protection strategies and implementation.
The course aligns with landscape or horticulture supervisor Level 3, and horticulture or landscape construction operative Level 2 apprentice standards.
It will emphasise skills in sustainable practices, community engagement, and environmental protection.
