Support for HM Armed Forces personnel with key community support services

If you’re a veteran or transitioning from the HM Armed Forces, Skills Launchpad Plymouth is here to help you explore new opportunities and connect with valuable support services.

As part of this ongoing support, on Tuesday 20 May, Kelly Dowell, Community Builder for Help for Heroes, will be joining our Skills and Workforce Coordinator, Victoria, on the first floor of Barclays Bank in the city centre, between 10am to 3pm to offer expert advice and guidance on the various ways you can engage with your community and enhance your career prospects.

Kelly will be available to discuss the support she offers through Help for Heroes and how you can tap into resources tailored to veterans and service leavers. Whether you're seeking information on local events, activities, or specific social groups, Kelly is there to help you navigate what’s available.

If you have an idea or aspiration for your community, Kelly can help guide you on how to bring it to life. Plus, if you’re looking to share a passion, talent, or interest, she can assist in connecting you with others who share similar goals.
