National Careers Week (Monday 2 to Saturday 7 March) will see organisations across the country working to increase awareness and excitement around career opportunities, inspiring people of all ages on their journeys.

Here in Plymouth, our workforce of over 110,000 people continues to grow. Throughout the week, Skills Launchpad Plymouth will be championing careers digitally as well as through themed events, and support sessions focusing on the city’s growth sectors.

Localised digital resources

The Skills Launchpad Plymouth website hosts localised resources based on age – click here for the Youth Hub and here for the Adult Hub – as well as resources for key sectors (click here), including business services, construction and the built environment, creative industries, digital, education and childcare, engineering and manufacturing, the green economy, health and social care, marine and defence, public services, and tourism, hospitality and retail.

In addition to these pages, the news and events page and social media channels will have a Careers Week takeover as the team showcases key sectors and highlights priority skills and roles within the city.
