Bushcraft and mentoring with Groundwork South

Through their Empowering Enterprise project, Groundwork South is offering 18-24-year-olds who are seeking opportunities for training, education and jobs the chance to join bespoke bushcraft and mentoring sessions.

Based on a mixture of outdoor activities and 1:1 conversations, through this project, Craig can support with health and wellbeing, life skills including finances and budging careers advice and job searching support, as well as the chance to take part in social action projects. This is a great way for young people to build self-esteem and confidence, whilst also preparing for future employment or training.

The wider Groundwork South team can also provide access to various training courses, in areas including, environmental conservation, health and safety, gaining a CSCS card, administration, retail skills, and functional skills in English and maths. For those a bit more work-ready, they also support 18-24-year-olds with CV building and interview techniques, community projects, Apprenticeships and paid work placements.
