An exciting four-week work experience opportunity in the Civil Service is being offered to approximately 100 autistic young people.
You must be:
autistic
aged between 18 and 25 at the time of the internship
achieved a minimum of 2 GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and maths at Grade 4-9 (or A*-C) or above
have the right to work in the UK
interested in work relating to the Civil Service.
The opportunity will provide you with a great chance to gain experience within the Civil Service and an insight into the workplace. You will also be offered developmental coaching sessions and other activities throughout the internship.

All roles are full time Location: The programme is offered in a range of locations across the UK or online. If you are chosen to take part in the internship you will be required to undertake security checks. As a minimum, these checks require a current passport, DBS check, references and proof of your whereabouts (where you have lived) over the past three years. Ambitious about Autism will be available to assist you in completing these checks, identify any workplace adjustments you may want to request, and provide support throughout the internship.
