Connect to Work
Funded by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) as part of the national Get Britain Working strategy, Connect to Work is:
supporting approximately 2,100 Plymouth residents
£6.8 million total funding over 5 years
delivered in partnership with Devon County Council and Torbay Council, covering the full DWP-prescribed area.
Connect to Work is a voluntary supported employment programme designed to help people with disabilities, health conditions, or complex barriers to employment find and sustain meaningful work.
By integrating work, health, and skills support, the programme aims to improve employment outcomes and reduce economic inactivity in Plymouth and the wider region.
The programme supports people:
who are economically inactive but want to work
in employment who are at risk of losing their job due to health or personal circumstances.
