Our Youth Hub supports 16 to 24-year-olds to engage in opportunities for skills, training, education, careers and jobs, and we're growing the team!! We are recruiting for a second Youth Hub Coordinator to work alongside our existing service and key partners to develop an outreach programme that supports 14 to 24-year-olds who are not engaging in education, employment or training or at risk of disengaging (and their parents and carers).
This Youth Hub Coordinator will have a priority focus on coordinating activities in Stonehouse, Efford and Honicknowle, with the aim of promoting employability opportunities. It is anticipated that this role will require the ability to work flexibly to engage during prime times (including evenings and some weekends) in community settings.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and people skills, as well as experience or awareness of pre and post 16 opportunities in Plymouth. There is also an expectation for the successful candidate to have the administrative skills required to complete action plans, track and monitor progress and destinations, and develop case studies.
