Tinside Cove: Coastal Clean

Join the Plymouth Sound National Marine Park Rangers and dedicated volunteers for a monthly coastal clean at Tinside Cove. These friendly, hands‑on sessions are open to anyone who wants to help care for the stunning Tinside and Hoe foreshore area.

Whether you’re a regular volunteer or trying community action for the first time, everyone is welcome. Taking part not only helps keep our coastline clean, safe and welcoming, but also supports your wellbeing — enjoy that “blue mind” feeling, the sense of calm and connection that comes from spending time by the sea.

By getting involved, you’ll be helping to protect a healthy shoreline for both people and marine life, while learning more about the major threats facing our oceans, including pollution and plastic waste.

After the clean, relax and enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits — a great chance to chat, reflect, and meet like‑minded people.

Come along to reconnect with Plymouth’s beautiful blue spaces, meet new people, and be part of something positive for the local environment. It’s a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference.
