Come and join us at Skills Launchpad Plymouth this week for our Military Tuesday drop-in session, where we will be fortunate enough to be joined by The Poppy Factory.
As a service, The Poppy Factory offer help with cv writing, job searching, interview preparation and overcoming barriers into work. They can also offer continued support once you are in work. This help and support is available for individuals who have served for one day or more in the Armed Forces or Reserves, and consider themselves to have a physical or mental health condition.
This is a free drop in session with the chance to speak to some brilliant people who could make a real difference to your employment search.
When and where?
The session will be on Tuesday 11th of July from 12-3pm, at Skills Launchpad Plymouth on the first floor of Barclays in the city centre.
Who are The Poppy Factory?
The Poppy Factory is a fantastic organisation that supports veterans with health conditions on their journey into employment. Mental health can play a key role in being fit and well for work. With four out of five veterans reporting a mental health condition, The Poppy Factory has an experienced employment team that are on hand to offer guidance and one-to-one support through this process.
This is a great organisation, that wants to support and empower veterans into employment, that reflects their individual skill set and own personal circumstances. They believe that with the right help and support, employment can be fulfilling, and in some cases, life changing.
