Accountancy and Finance Apprenticeship

Princess Yachts offers Level 2/3 apprenticeships in Accounting and Finance Administration, depending on availability. Your starting point will depend on your previous experience — many learners begin at Level 2 before progressing onto the Level 3 programme once completed successfully.

Over 2 to 3 years, apprentices work across various Finance teams within the business, gaining a strong grounding in financial operations. Training units may include:

• Understanding organisational and financial requirements

• Analysing, processing and managing financial information

• Handling transaction data accurately

• Communicating effectively with colleagues, suppliers and external partners

• Using digital systems responsibly, including cyber‑secure practices

Business Administration Apprenticeship

Subject to availability, Princess Yachts also offers a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship lasting two years. Apprentices rotate across multiple business support areas, giving them a broad set of administrative, organisational and communication skills.

Depending on your placement, you may gain experience in areas such as:

• Data management and administrative processes

• Reception and front‑of‑house duties

• Key principles of business administration

• HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Marketing, Sales or Procurement

• Working with internal and external stakeholders

• Supporting projects and contributing to continuous improvement

Engineering CAD Apprenticeship

The Engineering CAD (Computer Aided Design) Apprenticeship offers the chance to develop both technical and creative skills within the Princess Yachts Development team. Apprentices receive training in 2D and 3D design while gaining practical understanding across several production‑related modules, including:

• Reading technical drawings, pattern creation, woodworking, laminating and templating

• Engineering and carpentry fit-out techniques

• Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) software and processes

Entry Requirements for these apprenticeships:

Applicants will typically need a Level 4 qualification or equivalent in English, Maths, Science and one additional subject.
