This interactive event is designed to support both adults and young people as they take their next steps toward meaningful employment within the local authority. 

About the Workshop: 

The workshop will support to  

• Understand the wide range of career pathways available with the local authority 

• Learn how to create a strong, effective CV that highlights your strengths and transferable skills 

• Gain insider guidance on completing applications through the Council’s recruitment system 

• Build confidence and improve your employability skills 

• Take positive steps toward roles that support Plymouth’s growth and community development 

Session One: Adult Hub (Ages 25+) 

Perfect for adults looking to change careers, re-enter the workforce, or explore opportunities with Plymouth City Council.

Join us for a supportive and informative workshop tailored specifically to adults aged 25 and over. 

What you’ll learn: 

• How to create a powerful CV that showcases your experience 

• Tips for completing strong, successful applications through the Council’s online system 

• Insight into the diverse range of roles available across Plymouth City Council

• How to build a clear, engaging CV tailored to your future goals
