Four Greens Community Trust are holding a drop in session at Manadon Sports Hub on Thursday 4 August, between 11am – 7pm. With some brilliant permanent jobs available, the session is an ideal opportunity to pop in for an informal chat and find out more about the jobs on offer.
Four Greens Community Trust is a designated Wellbeing Hub and Community Interest Company. Based at Whitleigh Green and formed in 2014, its vision is to eradicate poverty, social isolation and health inequalities within its community.
As an organisation, the Trust work closely with Plymouth City Council, The Salvation Army and Barnardo's covering various subjects. They also work with smaller local organisations in the delivery of food parcels. The COVID-19 pandemic has only highlighted the need for food banks, and with the current cost of living crisis, the need for them is likely to become greater.
The trust has a wellbeing hub that also offers advice and guidance around a range of subjects, including health and wellbeing, mental health advice, financial support, and debt and benefit advice.
They have Community Builder positions and a Food Co-operative organiser role available.
No formal qualifications are required, just a drive for bringing people together and a passion for working in the community, with all demographics.
If you are community-minded and keen to secure work, come along!
