If you know a young person who has just finished Year 11 or Year 12 and doesn’t yet have a plan for what’s next, Careers Plymouth is offering dedicated support through their Education Leavers Hotline.
This free service is open to young people who are unsure about their next steps in education, training, or employment. The team at Careers Plymouth is friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced in supporting young people from all backgrounds — including those with SEND, mental health needs, or who are care experienced.
Hotline dates and times
The hotline (01752 306355 or 01752 306536) will be open from 10am to 4pm on:
Friday 22 August
Tuesday 26 August
Wednesday 27 August
Thursday 28 August
Young people - or their parents and carers - are welcome to call and the Careers Plymouth team will talk through all available options and help each caller make an informed decision about their future. There’s no pressure, just support.
Please also visit the dedicated Skills Launchpad Plymouth education leavers pages here, for more information on support this summer.
