It may be half term, but here at Skills Launchpad Plymouth, we have another busy week, to help support you in your journey to find skills, training and employment.

Monday - Online support available
Tuesday (open to anyone 16+)
Sector Drop-in Sessions, 10am to 2pm: Tuesdays are focussed on those interested in the construction and built environment, and the green economy. This is a great chance to talk to our coordinators Morven and Jas about skills and training opportunities in our area. They will be on hand to discuss everything, from the type of jobs available within the sectors, to skills and training opportunities available.
Aged 19+? The National Careers Service offer pre-booked appointments for help with developing CVs, cover letters, and general careers advice.
Wednesday (Youth Hub delivery for 16 to 24-year-olds)
Health and Wellbeing Event, 10am to 2pm - Want to connect with local health and well being opportunities? Pop in and meet with our friendly Youth Hub team, aswell as Devon Mind, Pentreath, and Recovery For All. Our Co-ordinators Rhi and Abi will also be on hand if you want to chat about skills, training, education and jobs. They are also a fountain of knowledge on apprenticeships and supported internships!
Our Youth Hub Work Coaches from the Jobcentre will be meeting people for pre-booked appointments
Hollie from the Prince's Trust will be available to discuss upcoming opportunities.
Thursday (Youth Hub delivery for 16 to 24-year-olds)
Find Your Future, 12pm to 2pm
Our Youth Hub Coordinators Rhi and Abi, have cleared their diaries between 12-2pm to support any care experienced young people in need of a chat and some direction. There’s no pressure to sign up to anything. It’s just a chat, and you can bring a friend or your PA. Pop in and give it a try.

Arts University Plymouth - Post Graduate Study Open Evening
If you are interested in studying a creative postgraduate degree, Arts University Plymouth has lots to offer.
They will be hosting an open evening to help you discover more about student life at Arts University Plymouth, and the post graduate courses currently on offer.
This will be a great opportunity to speak with current students and staff about what courses would be good for you. So get the date saved!

Caring Plymouth - Jobs and Training Drop-in at Plymouth Market
Interested in the health and care sector? Pop along to Plymouth Market and see Jack, our Health and Care Co-ordinator, where he will be joined by recruiting employers and local training providers. The perfect event to learn about training and employment opportunities within the caring industry.
