Next week at Skills Launchpad Plymouth - w/c 11 December

It's a busy time of year, and there's lots going on at Skills Launchpad Plymouth. It is our last week of face to face delivery before the festive fun starts! To make sure you don't miss anything, and to save you scrolling through too many posts, here's a break down of what's on and when next week.

Tuesday (open to anyone 16+)

  • Sector Drop-in Sessions, 10am to 3pm: For anyone interested in the construction and built environment or the health and care sectors, drop-in to Skills Launchpad Plymouth to find out more information about jobs, apprenticeships or further study. Our dedicated coordinators will be on hand to offer advice and support. You will be able to discuss everything from ideas that you have for your future, to your cv and general advice and guidance about your next steps.

  • Pop in and speak to Jack and Lauren, our experienced health and care coordinators. They will be focussing on Care Homes and the variety of job roles that are currently available in the city, including activities coordinators, kitchen assistants and care assistants. With care homes providing a home, and personal care for people that need additional support, work within this area can be extremely rewarding. No need to book. Just pop along between 11am to 2pm to find out more.

  • Aged 19+? The National Careers Service offer pre-booked appointments for help with developing CVs, cover letters, and general careers advice.

Wednesday (Youth Hub delivery for 16 to 24-year-olds)

  • 1:1 Youth Hub appointments, 10am to 3pm with Rhi

There’s no pressure to sign up to anything. It’s just a chat, and you can bring a friend or your PA. Pop in and give it a try.

  • Chris from CSW will be meeting people for pre-booked appointments to offer information, advice and guidance on planning your future, next steps and education to suit you.
