NCW2024 - Education and Childcare

This week in celebration of National Careers Week 2024 we are showcasing some of Plymouth’s key sectors, and today we focus on education and childcare.


In a career in education and childcare, you have multiple options to choose from to inspire both children and young adults. In Plymouth, there are over 120 educational establishments for people of all ages.


Key roles in this sector include:

  • early years tutor.

Looking to train for education and childcare? Outside of school-based provision, there are courses from entry-level to postgraduate qualifications. Achievement Training Plymouth, City College Plymouth, Discovery College, Plymouth Marjon University and the University of Plymouth are great places to start.
