We’re thrilled to share that we’ll be taking part in Devonport Open Days 2026, returning this summer to one of the UK’s most historic and advanced naval environments. The event opens its gates to the public on Friday 24 July 2026, offering rare access to the inner workings of Devonport Royal Dockyard.

Step inside a remarkable naval site

Devonport is known for its long-standing maritime heritage and its modern role supporting some of the UK’s most important defence operations. Each year, thousands of skilled engineers, technicians, and specialists work behind the scenes to maintain naval vessels and support national capability. This event gives visitors a chance to explore normally restricted areas and see this important work up close.

What you can look forward to

This year’s Open Days are set to offer a wide range of hands-on experiences and insightful demonstrations, including:

  • Behind‑the‑scenes site access, showcasing both historic and operational dockyard areas

  • Live demonstrations from engineers, apprentices, and technical teams

  • STEM experiences for curious minds of all ages

  • Food, drink, and rest zones so you can enjoy a full day on site

  • Accessibility support to ensure the event is welcoming to all

  • Improved transport options to help visitors travel to and from the venue smoothly

A full schedule of activities will be published closer to the event.

The Open Days celebrate the people, expertise, and innovation that drive the dockyard’s mission. It’s a chance to connect the local community with the teams who deliver vital engineering work and to inspire future generations to explore careers in science, technology, and defence.
