Our Youth Hub supports 16 to 24-year-olds to access skills, training, education, careers and jobs across the city. To expand our offer and provide more intensive support, we are recruiting a second Youth Hub Coordinator to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people in Plymouth. You will deliver a rolling engagement programme, beginning with personalised skills action plans and delivering group sessions, employability training and skills development tailored to individual needs - particularly for young people with neurodiversity and/or mental ill health.

You will have dedicated time to plan, organise, deliver and facilitate this programme, ensuring all sessions are inclusive, accessible and impactful. You will also support young people to engage in job fairs, outreach experiences, volunteering and other confidence‑building opportunities both onsite and offsite.

As a Youth Hub Coordinator, you will:

  • Support 16–24-year-olds to access training, education, employment and career pathways

  • Deliver high‑quality group sessions and skills activities

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support for young people with additional needs

  • Track and monitor progress and outcomes to maintain engagement and achieve positive results

  • Develop case studies and complete accurate skills action plans

  • Work collaboratively with partners, employers and service providers

  • Facilitate access to job fairs, outreach visits, volunteering and other developmental opportunities

We are looking for a proactive, motivated individual with a genuine passion for helping young people thrive.

You will bring:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience or awareness of post‑16 opportunities in Plymouth

  • A commitment to youth development, employment and employability

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills

  • Confidence in delivering group sessions and supporting young people with varied needs

This role is funded for 12 months for four days a week - with three expected to be on site at Cobourg House. It's a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by working closely with the existing team and local partners.
