Green Careers Week - Monday 6 to Saturday 11 November

Next week is Green Careers Week, a week organised by National Careers Week, with STEM Learning and the UK Space Agency, to raise awareness of green careers in every industry.

It is a week that aims to raise aspirations, support diversity and challenge stereotypes, and promote real opportunities to have a career that will genuinely make a difference.

A green career can be any job, role or occupation that contributes to preserving or restoring the environment and our planet. It can be any industry, not just those seen as ‘green.’ Green skills are abilities, attributes, values, attitudes, knowledge, and technical skills needed to adapt services, processes and procedures to support climate change.

Check out our Green Careers Week calendar below to see how you can get involved at Skills Launchpad Plymouth - including the Net Zero Careers Fair with British Gas Zero and City College Plymouth hosted at Barclays on Armada Way.
