Get Started in Film and Photography with The Kings Trust

The King’s Trust is launching an exciting new course this April for young people aged 16 to 30 who want to explore the creative world of film and photography.

Whether you're completely new or already experimenting with visuals, this hands-on programme gives you the chance to develop your own film or photography project from scratch. You'll work with professional MacBooks, cameras, and industry-standard editing software—all supported by expert guidance.

In partnership with Foto Now, Plymouth, here's what you can look forward to:

• Explore film and photography with expert support

• No experience needed—just enthusiasm and curiosity

• Create your own project in either film or photography

• Use industry equipment, including MacBooks, cameras, and specialist editing tools

• Get support throughout from a friendly, experienced team

• Meet and collaborate with other young creatives

• Lunch included every day

• Celebrate your work at the end-of-week showcase

Monday 20 April to Friday 25 April 2026 (Exact times to be confirmed – typically 10am to 3pm)
