Forest Rising Summer Programme

Are you interested in the conservation industry? Like the idea of gaining more skills and knowledge?

Forest Rising is a 6-month programme for the next generation of leaders, empowering and upskilling young people between 16 and 28, to be apart of the action. This programme is taking place throughout July and August, and is based at Poole Farm.

The programme will include:

• Workshops learning and taking action with Plymouth and South Devon Community Forest

• Gaining hands on conservation work experience

• Gaining insight into Plymouth Green Industry

• Designing and delivering tree planting projects in the city

• Learning from experienced conservationists and meeting people from inspiring projects

• A four day tree planting residential

• Receiving a digital badge for your CV

With everything from tree planting and aftercare, to woodland management, this FREE programme is the perfect programme to learn all about the industry, while you gain valuable knowledge and skills|
