Building Plymouth is hosting a free jobs and training drop-in session in partnership with Clarion Futures, offering local residents the chance to explore new opportunities and take positive steps towards their future. Whether you’re looking for work, considering training, or wanting to build your skills, this event provides access to expert support and practical guidance.

 

Clarion Futures is the charitable foundation of Clarion Housing Group and delivers one of the UK’s largest social investment programmes. Their work is focused on helping individuals overcome barriers and improve their prospects by increasing access to employment, skills development, and essential support services.

 

They work with people from a wide range of backgrounds, helping to build confidence and open doors to employment, education, and apprenticeships. Through a national programme, Clarion Futures offers tailored support to help individuals secure jobs, access training, gain work experience, or explore self-employment. With strong links to hundreds of employers, they also provide access to a variety of apprenticeship opportunities across different sectors.

 

At this drop-in session, advisors from Clarion Futures will join the Building Plymouth team to provide friendly, one-to-one support. You can attend at any time and speak directly with professionals who will help you understand your options and plan your next steps. Whether you’re just starting out, returning to work after time away, or thinking about changing direction, support will be tailored to suit you.

  • Gain support with job applications and interview preparation

Building Plymouth coordinators will also be available to share information about opportunities in Plymouth, including routes into key industries across the city.
