Empowering Futures: NeuDICE Inspires Young People at the Youth Hub

In response to the needs of neurodivergent young people, we welcomed NeuDICE: The Neurodivergent support network to deliver an Employment focused workshop, exploring the barriers neurodivergent individuals often face when entering employment.

Hosted at the Youth Hub, our young people took part in an engaging and interactive session. Mimi and Stu led an open conversation grounded in their own lived experiences — from the challenges of finding work and the pressure to “fit in,” to navigating unclear workplace expectations and recognising that keeping a job can be just as difficult as securing one.

One young person shared: “It was informative, and I liked being with like minded people."

An unexpected but welcomed outcome was to see participants connecting with one another, expanding their networks, and building new peer relationships.
