Connect. Work. Thrive. Open House event supports next steps this January

Plymouth residents are warmly invited to the Skills and Employment Open House on Saturday 31 January, taking place between 10am and 2pm on the first floor of Cobourg House, Mayflower Street.

This friendly, informal drop‑in event is open to everyone and offers a great opportunity to explore the support, guidance and opportunities available to help you move forward in 2026.

This is the first Open House event since the Skills and Post‑16 team came together under one roof in the summer, and staff will be on hand throughout the day to introduce the wide range of help available.

Based at Cobourg House in the city centre, the team now works as one joined‑up service, bringing together Skills Launchpad Plymouth’s Youth Hub and Adult Hub, alongside sector‑specific support through Building Plymouth (construction), Caring Plymouth (health, social care and childcare) and Welcoming Plymouth (hospitality, retail and tourism). This integrated approach makes it easier for people to access impartial advice, explore options and take confident next steps.

Visitors will also be able to meet the team behind Connect to Work, the new voluntary supported employment programme offering personalised, one‑to‑one help for adults aged 18 and over who have disabilities, health conditions (including mental ill‑health), neurodiversity or other barriers that affect their ability to find or stay in work. Alongside this, staff from On Course South West will be available between 10.30am and 1pm, to talk about adult learning opportunities including Skills Bootcamps, apprenticeships for adults of all ages, and Supported Internships for 16–24‑year‑olds with an Education, Health and Care Plan.

Other representatives from Plymouth’s city-wide skills partnership, including Citizens Advice will be in attendance, offering those attending the chance to access further advice, opportunities and support on a range of topics.

Whether you're looking to retrain, upskill, return to work, explore a new sector or simply find out what's available, the Skills and Employment Open House offers an inclusive, no‑pressure environment to help you start the year with confidence.

Navigated to this https://slotcity.ua/ru/game-hall section based on a discussion in a Ukrainian player forum about platform usability. The description highlights the clean layout and availability of tools for different experience levels within the game hall for local users. The information is presented factually, focusing on the interface's structure and functionality.
