Connect with local opportunities this summer

Throughout August, the Youth Hub team has arranged weekly events so that young people aged 16 to 24 can find out more about the local opportunities available in the city.

Whether you or someone you know are looking to get an apprenticeship in the construction sector, or find a job with a tourism, hospitality or retail employer, we have events that can help.

Just getting started on your journey to employment? Our Starting Support Drop-in on Wednesday 14 August is the perfect opportunity to connect with mentoring, short programmes that will build your confidence, and more.

Supporting these summer events are Arts University Plymouth, Foto Now, Access Creative, Barbican Theatre, Skills Group, Focus Training, Building Plymouth, Southwest Highways, City College Plymouth, MY Futures, Prince’s Trust, City College Plymouth Teams Programme, Discovery College, The Zone, Argyle Community Trust, Achievement Training, and Welcoming Plymouth.

Drop-in to see us at Skills Launchpad Plymouth on the first floor of Barclays in the city centre, or come and find our Pop-ups outside of Barclays on Place De Brest, or in Drake Circus mall, opposite M&S.
