Connect to Work is the first programme under the Government's new Get Britain Working initiative. It is a voluntary supported employment programme for adults aged 18+ facing complex barriers to work.
The programme will support those facing barriers including long term health issues, physical disability, mental health, drug or alcohol abuse, neurodiversity, care leavers or those with caregiving responsibilities, to name a few.
This online briefing will give employers and partners an overview of the programme itself, and find out how we can all work together to create more accessible employment opportunities in our city.
When: Tuesday 2 December
Time: 1.30 - 2.30pm
This is a great chance to find out how you can play your part in this programme, and how you can support Plymouth residents with complex barriers, into sustained employment.
