Connect to Work - in your community
Looking for work in 2026? The Connect to Work supported employment programme is here to help Plymouth residents take the next step toward meaningful employment. If you’re facing extra challenges such as a disability, health condition (including mental health), or neurodiversity, this free programme offers tailored, one-to-one support to help you find, and thrive, in work that suits your skills and circumstances.
Who is Connect to Work for?
People aged 18 and over, who live in Plymouth and have a disability, health condition, or complex barrier affecting their ability to find or stay in work, and are motivated to find employment with personalised support.
What you can expect:
personalised advice and guidance from friendly employment specialists
help to identify your strengths and match you with suitable job opportunities
support with CVs, applications, and interview preparation
advice on workplace adjustments and confidence-building
access to training, skills development, and ongoing in-work support.

Meet the team this January at community drop-ins and events:
Mondays: The Little Cafe at Tothill Community entre, 12noon to 4pm
Tuesdays: First floor of Cobourg House on Mayflower Street, 10am to 2pm
Wednesdays: Cattedown Social Club, 10.30am to 12.30pm
Thursdays: First floor of Cobourg House on Mayflower Street, 10am to 2pm and Four Greens Community Trust, 5.45pm to 7pm - this evening session is for those with learning disabilities
Fridays: Four Greens Community Trust, 12noon to 2pm.

Join us at the Skills and Employment Open House!
On Saturday 31 January between 10am and 2pm, the Connect to Work team will be available on the first floor of Cobourg House, Mayflower Street, as part of this drop in event. It's a great chance to connect with opportunities for skills and employment and discover the tailored support available to help you thrive in 2026.
