Community Youth Art Competition

Working in partnership, Plymouth City Council and Plymouth Age UK are hosting a Community Youth Art Competition. The winning entry will become the ‘face’ of their Loneliness and Isolation Campaign 2022, as well as winning £100 of Love2Shop vouchers.

Whether art is your skill or passion, if you use it as a form of wellbeing, or simply want to get involved, anyone aged 11-25 is welcome to submit a piece of artwork that represents loneliness and isolation, and entries are welcome through a diverse range of mediums.

Not sure where to start? It's all down to your own preferences. If you are a whizz with Illustrator or Canva and want to design something digital, you can. Or, if you are more into abstract paintings, poetry or photography – these are equally welcomed. The only rules are you must be aged 11-25 to take part and your entry must represent your interpretation of loneliness and isolation.

Closing date: 30 April 2022
