City College Plymouth's Open Day - Saturday 6 November

This Saturday's City College Plymouth's open day promises to be bigger and better than ever before, so if you are considering studying at the College make sure you go along between 10.00am and 1.00pm for the chance to view the campus and try out the very latest equipment.

This event will see the official opening of the highly anticipated Digital Learning Quarter, with its cutting-edge digital learning tools for student and staff use including a huge digital touchscreen table, 30 of the latest Oculus Quests, Google Jamboards and a fully interactive wall-length screen.


The open day will also offer the opportunity to learn more about T Levels. These brand-new qualifications incorporate classroom learning with work placements, ensuring students are fully prepared for either university or employment.


Learn all about Higher Technical Qualifications, which are addressing gaps in knowledge and skills. Or start enquiring about Apprenticeship vacancies – chat to one of the exhibiting employers or talk to the College's Employer Solutions team.

You can also:

  • tour the College and see the fantastic industry-standard facilities

  • learn about the vibrant student community from current students

  • talk to lecturers about the courses on offer

  • find out what employers are looking for in potential employees

  • speak to the English and Maths team about how you can brush up on your skills for FREE

  • get advice on careers, funding, childcare and travel from the student support teams.
