Breathe in, breathe out - Gentle Yoga for Wellbeing

Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in ancient India. Taking part in yoga has many benefits including:

  • improving strength, balance and flexibility

  • helping with aches and pains

  • promoting relaxing and stress relief

  • connecting you with a supportive community.

Yoga with Lucy, organised by Improving Lives Plymouth, is £5 per session. They take place on Thursdays 11.30am - 12.30pm on 12, 19, 26 May and 9, 23, 30 June in Mannamead Hub, PL3 5QL.


In these predominantly chair based sessions (with optional mat based moments), Lucy will guide you through mindful breathing exercises, paired with gentle, accessible movement. With a primary focus on supporting mental wellbeing, you will also explore some simple meditation and relaxation techniques. Where you have done it before or are new, it is open to all.
