If so, the Real Ideas Organisation run a fantastic six-week programme that can do just that!
Green Thinkers is a six week programme for 18-30 year olds living in Plymouth.
The purpose of the programme is to learn about working in green spaces, while having hands on work experience.
What you will learn from the programme:
· The benefits of urban green spaces for communities and the planet
· How to care for Plymouth’s green spaces – parks, farms and nature reserves
· Hands on practical skills such as tree first aid, planting and using tools to manage overgrowth
· How to transform disused spaces to increase biodiversity in cities
· Learning skills in communication, research, organisation, and relationship building
· Develop employability skills
· Practice in cv writing, cover letters and interview techniques
When: Monday and Tuesday - Six week programme. Starting Monday 30 January
Where: Devonport Guildhall
