There's lots going on at Skills Launchpad Plymouth at the moment, so to save you scrolling through too many posts, here's a break down of what's on and when next week.
Tuesday (open to anyone 16+)
Sector Drop-in Sessions, 10am to 3pm: For anyone interested in the construction and built environment or the health and care sectors, drop-in to Skills Launchpad Plymouth to find out more information about jobs, apprenticeships or further study. Our dedicated coordinators will be on hand to offer advice and support.
Aged 19+? The National Careers Service offer pre-booked appointments for help with developing CVs, cover letters, and general careers advice.
There have been some fantastic NHS and health and care events this month. If you attended any of them, you will have had access to lots of information. Tuesday is a fantastic chance to pop in and see Jack and Lauren, our Health and Care Coordinators to de-brief! They will be on hand to offer support around your next steps. You will be able to talk about everything from how the event was for you, to your cv and general interview tips.
Wednesday (Youth Hub delivery for 16 to 24-year-olds)
1:1 Youth Hub appointments, 10am to 3pm with Rhi
Apprenticeship drop in, 10am-2pm - Join us at Skills Launchpad Plymouth to meet with local training providers including City College Plymouth, Prince's Trust Teams and Argyle Community Trust. Our Youth Hub Coordinator Rhianne will also be available for anyone needing additional support.
Our Youth Hub Work Coaches from the Jobcentre will be meeting people for pre-booked appointments
Thursday (Youth Hub delivery for 16 to 24-year-olds)
Find Your Future drop-in at Skills Launchpad Plymouth: Our Youth Hub Coordinator, Rhi has cleared her diary between 12-3pm to support any care experienced young people in need of a chat and some direction. There’s no pressure to sign up to anything. It’s just a chat, and you can bring a friend or your PA. Pop in and give it a try.
If you have done a degree and are looking for further study, don't miss the University of Plymouth's Post Graduate Open Evening. This will be a great chance to chat to students, and discuss post graduate studies, research and masters programmes.
