There's lots going on at Skills Launchpad Plymouth at the moment, so to save you scrolling through too many posts, here's a break down of what's on and when next week.
Tuesday (open to anyone 16+)
· Sector Drop-in Sessions, 10am to 3pm: For anyone interested in the construction and built environment or the health and care sectors, drop-in to Skills Launchpad Plymouth to find out more information about jobs, apprenticeships or further study. Our dedicated coordinators will be on hand to offer advice and support.
You will be able to discuss everything from ideas that you have for your future, to your cv and general interview tips.
· Aged 19+? The National Careers Service offer pre-booked appointments for help with developing CVs, cover letters, and general careers advice.
Wednesday (Youth Hub delivery for 16 to 24-year-olds)
· Training and Apprenticeship Drop-in.
If you're interested in exploring training and apprenticeship opportunities in Plymouth, this event is for you!
When: Wednesday 22 November
Where: First Floor, Barclays, Plymouth
Time: 10am-2pm
Join us at Skills Launchpad Plymouth to meet with local training providers including, Babcock, Young Devon, Skills Group, and The Focus Training Group.
You will also be able to chat with Hollie from The Princes Trust about upcoming programmes that they are running, and additional advice and guidance they can provide around your future! Our Youth Hub Coordinator Rhianne will also be available for anyone needing additional support.
· Our Youth Hub Work Coaches from the Jobcentre will be meeting people for pre-booked appointments
Thursday (Youth Hub delivery for 16 to 24-year-olds)
· Find Your Future drop-in at Skills Launchpad Plymouth: Our Youth Hub Coordinator, Rhi has cleared her diary between 12-3pm to support any care experienced young people in need of a chat and some direction. There’s no pressure to sign up to anything. It’s just a chat, and you can bring a friend or your PA. Pop in and give it a try.
· CSW will be meeting people for pre-booked appointments to offer information, advice and guidance on planning your future, next steps and education to suit you.

Achievement Training Open Day
Achievement Training offers a wide range of flexible educational and vocational training courses to young people and adults. They are holding an Open Day to showcase the range of courses that they have on offer. This will be a great chance to see what it is like study, with the flexibility to suit you!

Arts University Plymouth Undergraduate and Postgraduate Open Day
Come along to find out what it’s like to study at the number one Arts University for student satisfaction! As well as being able to explore the campus, you will have the chance to view nearby affordable accommodation, speak with course leaders, and even hop on a bus and have a tour of the city! You will learn all about the BA Hons available courses and be able to ask any questions you have around Postgraduate offerings.
