Every Thursday afternoon between 12.30-3.30pm, our Youth Hub Coordinator Jo is joined by Jason from Barnardos and special guests to host a Find your Future drop-in event for care experienced young people.
Hosted on the first floor of Barclays Bank in the City Centre, this drop-in session is an informal opportunity for young people aged 16-24 who need help with their next steps, careers advice, or just a bit of chat, to come along and speak to someone.
There's no charge, in fact, if you're struggling to get into town and need a bus pass we can help with that... and there's always plenty of free cake, tea, coffee and help available.
Each week is loosely themed, but the next few sessions are especially good so we think they are worth highlighting:
Thursday 25 November is about opportunities in sport and leisure and we will be joined by Gareth from Plymouth Argyle Community Trust
Thursday 2 December will help you explore the different jobs available at the Dockyard and we will have Emma from Babcock with us
Thursday 9 December will focus on how to get started in youth work, and Juliette from Plymouth Training will be joining us.
