Forest Rising is a programme that gives young people the chance to be at the heart of decision making. A chance to share views on how to improve your local community.
If you are aged between 16-28, why not go along, and have your voice heard.
What can you expect from the programme?
an environmental action programme for any young people aged 16 – 28
4 workshops with a focus on sharing inspiration, learning and action
sharing your ideas and interests with a community
learning about woodland creation and management
design woodlands and local projects
a final event to bring everyone together in July
When: Wednesday 19 April (and the following three Wednesdays)
Forest Rising is part of the Plymouth and South Devon Community Forest, an ambitious project that will see thousands of new trees planted in South and West Devon, and Dartmoor over the next few years.
