Nudge Community Builders are holding their annual Union Street Party on Sunday 11 September and they are looking for volunteer stewards to help on the day.
Nudge Community Builders was set up in 2017 by local people, living in Stonehouse. With a vision to make Union Street a street that everybody will love, they have kick-started the street party and are constantly creating and doing more within the community.
They are here to grow and build on local knowledge and experience, to really make a difference, and make sure that the local community benefits from changes in the area in a way that is unique and special.
This year's Street Party will be held between 12-4pm on Sunday 11 September. It will be the 13th Union Street Party where people can celebrate local musicians, performers and creatives!
This year there will be local bands and activities for all the family, including face painting, world foods from We are Jabulani and Plymouth Jollof Kitchen, as well as dance demos and aerial dancers! A variety of local sellers will be there with their goods, from vintage clothing to baked foods, so there is something for everyone! Wonderzoo will have acoustic performers and poets throughout the day, and founders Chi and Slain will even be getting married on the day!
Nudge are looking for people to come and join them as volunteer stewards. Help bring joy and love to the street!
