Through the Youth Hub, we've worked closely with the Plymouth City Council Care Leavers team, Care Journeys and the Job Centre, to support care experienced young people to move forward with their next steps. This support doesn't always start with them getting a job or starting training or education right away, and is often about supporting individuals to take small steps in increasing their confidence, thinking about what they want from life, and helping them to make progress towards that goal.
We can offer support through telephone appointments, face-to-face through a pre-arranged appointment, or during our Thursday Find Your Future Drop-in between 12-3pm. To get started, simply email skillslaunchpad@plymouth.gov.uk or text Rhianne on 07876 396982.
