Skills Launchpad Plymouth
Skills Launchpad Plymouth – the city’s one-stop-shop for skills, training, education, careers and jobs
This free service offers tailored support for:
young people aged 16 to 24-years-old, including those with additional needs, through the Youth Hub
adults aged 25+ seeking work, facing redundancy, or changing careers via the Adult Hub.
The service puts individuals first, recognising that one size doesn’t fit all. In response to the cost of living pressures, it provides an ethical and inclusive space to help residents make informed choices about skills, training, and employment.
Based at Cobourg House (32 Mayflower Street), Skills Launchpad Plymouth offers bookable face-to-face appointments and a weekly programme of activities for both young people and adults.
The Employer Hub as part of Skills Launchpad Plymouth includes a specific focus on aiding inclusive recruitment and employment and provides localised support for small to medium sized companies to better navigate the complex skills and employment landscape to help tackle recruitment and retention challenges.
