When Amy first came to the Youth Hub, they expressed interest in all things creative and were looking to explore relevant opportunities. They were referred to the e-sport traineeship with Plymouth Training. Amy took this opportunity and completed the traineeship and was excited to try more.
Amy then came in to our Arts Focused Drop-in in August and met with our Youth Hub Coordinator. They were introduced to the Prince’s Trust and the Theatre Royal Plymouth. As a result of this, they signed up to take part in the Get into Theatre programme.
They enjoyed the make-up and hair element of the programme so much, they have moved on to study Media Hair and Make-up at City College Plymouth, with the support of the Prince’s Trust, and are really happy. We are very excited to see where these experiences take Amy in the future!
